Two years max for Briere, nothing more, if at all. |

Kristo must have really rubbed the new management the wrong way, to make them throw him away to the Rangers for another micro midget. I really don't get that trade at all.
As for Lecavalier, him and his agent can go suck on a Richard, they never intended to work a deal with Montreal.

Not sure that's a deal he'd accept, but it's worth a try. |

Thomas is a decent prospect, good hockey trade...but yes sadly he suffers from dwarfism. |

Hockey Buzz Eklund @Eklund 21s
From what I.am hearing Danny briere is down to 5 teams..four of which appear to be Nashville, NJ, Boston and Montreal. |

Seriously... A small centre turned winger past his prime doesn't quite help fill the need for big wingers. |

No chance he goes to Boston or NJ. Nashville is perfect for him. |

I think he'll be an NHL player, which at this juncture seems more predictable than Christian Thomas' future.
More to the point, Kristo is an edgy player that has skill...he would've been a good fit on the Canadiens. And it's odd to just hand a prospect over like him when Hamilton is so thin at this stage...
but like I wrote, there were off-ice issues. And this move makes me think they were deeper than anyone knew.
In the meantime, Rangers are reuniting American players that have played together on many occasions in Kristo, Kreider, McDonagh, Stepan |

I thought it was speculated the Habs offer was for 3 years at 9 Mill.
Soooo.........because he didn't leave 13.5 mill on the table he and his agent should suck a Richard? |
