Very content with the Flyers goalie tandem. So happy they didn't go Tim Thomas or Ryan Miller.

I hope it's either Mez or Grossmann because of injury history. I like both players but doubt they can last a full season. If Coburn is traded and either or both of the other guys get hurt it's back to last season.

Gagne's deal has to be 2 mil or under or its over payment.

i'd rather they lose mez. gun shy at this point. Nic's concussions are a concern though.

expect them to try to swing for the fences for a dman or failing that, try to get a winger like kane from WPG. not that they'll be able to get any of this done, but they'll prob try.

All 3 had their run of injuries last year. Mez got the worst of it but Grossmann was a beast when he was healthy. And sure Coburn had a bad year, but the guy is our most tenured player. From a business perspective Andres has to go, but I also remember how excited we all were when he came in. It is really only since end of last year that all these injuries happened to him. Unfortunate.

might be the best road. i'd much rather see that than see coburn given away. and if they chose grossmann for a decent pick/prospect over meszaros for nothing i woudn't really have an objection to that

well, they did add streit. and many believe that their biggest issues relate more to the team as a whole than just the quality of the six d-men on the top of the depth chart. a vet like gagne should help in that department

Trade Mez & be done. The defense is better already with guys healthy & Streit. They need to give Gus time to see if he play at this level or not. Unless your getting a stud defenseman back in a deal wait & see how the guys we have play.

I think Gagne is in the same boat Jagr was in last year. Jagr just couldn't wait it out. Hopefully Simon will have the patience and Homer will save the space.

I'm all for trading a dman and signing Gagne, think at least 1 forward has to go too though. No idea who. I think McGinn is in their plans too, so really both need a roster spot (under these assumptions)
