really don't see why Edmonton would have interest here. If they traded Gagner, sure, by extending him seems to take away Grabo's spot... unless they are thinking 1 of them plays wing?

Leaf fans will kill me for this, but I'm not even sure Grabs is an upgrade on Hemsky. He stays healthier I guess.

Caps need to get off their asses and sign him. They're by far the best fit for him.

Hemsky's a better playmaker, Grabo's more of a shooter. Good for more goals, and ya more durable.

I think it's probably a wash if you look at full game.

But still don't see the point unless they plan to move either Grabo or Gagner to wing and play them together

Nuge may not be ready to Start the season, but still dont see this happening.

there are several teams for whom Grabo would be a solid addition. Edmonton just isn't one of them.

Leafs bought him out because he's not a fit at 3C, and they decided to go with Bozak and Kadri as 1 and 2.

Oilers have RNH and Gagner. Why would Grabo even consider signing for a team that could very well put him I the same situation he just left, and was pissed about being in?

EDIT: and forgot about Gordon... so 3C isn't an option either.

Just like Ribeiro did. This is probably his best chance at putting up big numbers and ccashing in next summer.
