Jensen can't kill penalties, doesn't hit and doesn't have the heart Hansen has.

If he does, it will be a huge mistake by the Canucks.

I honestly don't get why a player would accept a try out to the Leafs when they still need to sign Kadri and Franson and then the second thought on that is why are the Leafs offering try outs when they have to sign Kadri and Franson. This Nonis guy keeps getting better and better (I do realize it is only a try out and doesnt cost anything but why?)

Hansen is a great third line RWer, stone hands but he's got great wheels and he's confident. Can't teach speed!!

Just reading in the Sun he was an RFA, wasn't re-signed so he's gone back to Europe to play.

This draft (2013) really saved Mike Gillis as far as drafting goes. I was starting to think he was as bad as Dave Nonis. Still unproven talent from 2013, but it looks promising.

If Clarke MacArthur gets $3.25m then so should the rest of the league including the likes of Parros/Orr etc. Is it just me but Clarke is pretty much useless from the time I watched him in T.O. Sure he had his 1 good year where the whole line benefitted from many great bounces due to Kuleman's forcheck, but man I can't believe he gets that kind of dough for the kind of player he is.

Is he not a solid 20 goal guy ? I only watch a few Leafs games but that was what I thought he was. I had kind of hoped the Devils would of signed him.

The guy gets knocked off the puck so easy...I would think for $3.25m you could bring more than 20 goals...mostly garbage..he had the odd rush down the wing and would some how blast his 60mph slapshot past the backup goalie I guess

It is still stupid. So you bring in this guy for what ? to not worry about Kadri and Franson playing this season ? holy you guys will be significantly worse this year if that is the case. I mean the guy signs a third line player to over 5 million and now can't sign two players who are miles better. Just stupid. I mean the Clowe contract is bad but we had the space for it we have all our guys locked up Nonis now has two key players holding out because he had to lock up a guy who has never and probably wont ever hit the 50 pt mark for a crazy amount of money.

Who do you think wins the goaltending duo? I know you guys are really high on Reimer and I think he has shown so far to be a solid goalie but I think Bernier is just as good. I also think the break out player for the Leafs this year will be JVR I think he really blows a lot of people away this year.
