I was at the game, it wasn't only the dirty hit at the end of a game that was already over on the star kid, the ducks bottom line players kept coming over to the avs bench and starting crap. After the game was ended 3 of their guys dove right into the huddle of avs about to come off the bench and tried to start fights.

Pathetic move by the ducks and shows no class on the coach.

Happy to see the Avs get off to a good start though, and scoring goals like they are capable of doing.

Best game I have ever been too. Mom is becoming one of the biggest hockey fans in the family and surprised us with Club level seats.

Also gotta give props to the new marketing team. The new big screen is amazing, ice girls are great, new sound track and the pregame ceremony was fantastic.

I am just excited as all hell for the Avs this year.

Roy is clearly not smoking enough legalized weed.

Colorado could be dangerous this year if that energy can be harnessed.

Bordy head faked a guy and all 3 forwards bum rushed him to the bench. Also Ana's announcers were SOOOOO biased. Called it completely wrong.

Not only were the Avs outscoring them they were outhitting them, something I never thought I'd say of the Avs versus the Ducks. Corey Perry got pasted twice (once by Landeskog, once by McGinn) and McGinn and Downie were throwing their weight around all night long.

That hit by Lovejoy was bad and if MacKinnon had gotten hurt it would likely be suspension worthy. I will say this: Lovejoy was fortunate to be sitting for that final shift. He wouldn't have lasted a moment against Bordeleau and I don't think the Ducks had anyone in the lineup capable of handling the big man.

I agree with Boudreau on this one, it's not the coaches place to jaw at players on the other team...they have guys like Mcleod and Bordeleau that can talk with their fists. A lot of former players have transitioned well to coaching, but Roy is an ego maniac so incidents like this don't surprise me...
