And what will happen with the kid is that he'll become frustrated to the point that he'll be on the first deathtrap with wings back to Russia faster than you can say Alexander Radulov, and we'll never see the kid again.

There has got to at least be an exemption rule for situations like this.

Unless the CHL agrees to waive the right it cant be done. I believe Buffalo went and asked his CHL team to do so, and they said no.

That would be nice but not having a transfer agreement at all would be ideal.

Especially since the CHL is bigoted and has since put a ban on European goaltenders being drafted by CHL teams.

If so, I hope he doesn't give up.

Agreed . He needs some motivation and his team mates don't seem to be giving it. He does seem to play with no enthusiasm at all out there. It will change. maybe sitting in the box watching the team will get him going.
