Interesting stat in Brooks column tonight. In the 420 mins of hockey so far by the Rangers, they have trailed by 3 goals or more for 145 mins of those 420. That is just awful

Rangers will be fine....everybody needs to calm down....first off they have been playing on a very long road trip to start the year, they have key players out/hurt, they are trying to learn a new system under a totally different style coach....I like the idea of Kreider coming up, I think he fits AV's system much better then the defensive "shot-blocking" system that Torts had here. They have too much talent to be playing like they are and it's not the coach, they are just trying to adjust to a new system and it's hard for a team who has been playing a certain way for a very long time. I know, I've been watching my Devils play a system for almost 25 years...if they had to change I think all their heads would explode

I know Vin, but 24 hrs later & I'm still fuming about last night...not playing for 4 more days couldn't have happened at a worse time. They better show some pulse Thursday in Philly or like Jan said, AV will become Trottier 2.0 faster than you can say...Torts.

I don't think we need to blow it up, but some of the dead weight needs to be let go or moved.

If Cally goes anywhere....as far as signing a long term deal if its not us would be Buffalo likely, he has strong family ties up there still.

Well I doubt the Rangers would ever get rid of Cally...he's a great captain and I feel he's a "true" Ranger. There are certain players I think wear the "C" proudly and take it seriously and he's one of them (one thing that I never thought Parise did here). I joke about getting him but I know he'll never be traded...especially to my Devils

Wow. Just 'wow.' I can't believe people are actually hating on Callahan now. The start to the season has been a nightmare and a horrible disappointment but the boys in blue are also only 4 pts out of a playoff spot with a game in hand and more home games remaining than any team in the league.

I agree that AV needs to get this poop together or get out but let's not go nuts talking about blowing up the team including Hank and Cally. Let's all climb down off of the ledges.This team will blow itself up due to RFA/UFA at the end of the year anyway if this pace continues.

If the team pulls it together, gets their heads out of their asses, and builds some confidence they will be rolling when Nash, Cally, and Hagelin return. This early season adversity will serve to solidify the team and make them incredibly dangerous.

if we blow it up, that means getting rid of hank. hank has been pretty crappy lately, but we all know he's going to get his sh!t together. he's too talented and too much of a hard worker to keep this crap up.
