A truly inspiring story Stewie. I started getting complete colonoscopy procedures done every 3-5 years starting in my early 50s. I am 68 now and have had four so far. Each time one or two early still benign polyps have been found and removed which, if left in place, could have developed in to cancer so I can certainly concur with your advice to get screened whether or not you have symptoms. The screening procedure is a breeze and nothing to fear (even the prep is no longer that bad). So thanks for sharing your story and may you have many more years to enjoy life, wife, and family!

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Great read, cancer takes far too many people too early in their lives.

Very inspirational, Stewy! As a survivor myself (of a far less dangerous form of cancer), I can relate. It's just one more reason to appreciate what you are doing here!

Thanks for sharing your story, Stewie. Definitely inspirational. I've lost far too many friends and family members to this disease.

God bless and continued good health!
