Russell was not involved with the Bouwmeester deal. It was JBo for a first round pick, Cundari, and Berra. Russell was traded months later for a 5th rounder.
Good to hear Jaskin is getting close, he was good in camp, and needed if we have a rash of injuries. |

I gotta stick with what's worked for me twice so far. I'm gonna go steen to score the first.
Its also interesting to note that the Blues have such great depth at Goaltender that a guy that (speaking for myself) in Reto Berra, a relative unknown, has come over and made an NHL team. |

Problem is it's not top end goaltending depth. But along those lines, this will made 2 out of a 3 game period where we've faced goalies we drafted then traded (Bishop in TB.) |

Excited for the game...hopefully we see the middleweights (stewart and jackman) square off.
Don't think you are giving the trade much credit...it was a solid hockey trade that helped BOTH sides. MacInnis 94 when the franchise was penniless this is not. Berra may well be a solid tender, the #1 helps, and Cundari is another welcome question mark in the cupboard. Glad JBo is working out. Many fans (including me) incorrectly scapegoated him. He seemed so timid and soft and lacked offensive upside. Defensive responsibility and eating minutes is not sexy, but he quietly does this every night. He just lacked a partner as complete as Petro to offset this, and good for him and the Blues.
eh...3 2 Blues SO win |

I've picked Tarasenko for the last three games - and I'm going with him tonight too.... |

Hopefully Oshie isn't hurt.
Ref's letting Calgary get away with a lot but calling everything on the Blues. This game has potential to get really ugly as Blues are just going to start earning their penalties if they are spending the whole period in the box anyways. |

Good lord I am out of it lately... Was thinking that the moves in total included him, but didn't phrase it that way. |

Maybe before you write about a trade, you should know who was actually in it, and there was a first round pick which is always valuable. - Topcheese_101

He's back to start the third. Should be a good sign. Anything with "ankles" and "injury" along with "Oshie" worries me.

I just appreciate you keeping content coming out even when you are too busy with other stuff to triple check if you are as precise as you're intending. |

Exactly. Just like how I cringed anytime Perron or Tarasenko's head got bobbled around. Good to see Oshie back. |
