Carol, I'm going to avoid pointing fingers and will not mention you jinxing the Canucks by pointing out that Florida had yet to win at Roger's Arena in yesterdays blog.

Boy did that game suck.

We did suck. Fat head needs to make a trade or look forward to joining JFJ in the deadzone

If there's any good news at this juncture, it's that Vancouver's next two opponents both got spanked on Tuesday night.

I really don't know how this is good news? I have heard it said a few times and all I get out of it is we are in the same boat as our next two opponents and they should have just as much to prove and want to bounce back just as much as us.

Respect your opponent should be the lesson learned from this loss and you can't expect any easy wins from a team in our position.

Nice to see Hansen get a goal. My favourite player Burrows should be trade bait.

The only guys on this list I would keep would be richardson, santorelli and stanton.

This team only gets better by dealing one of the core players and the ones on the list have include names like: burrows, kesler, elder all of whom will fetch a big return. The sedins aren't going anywhere and neither are hamhuis, bieksa, garrison or tanev.

I include Kesler because if he can't be our #2 centre and is better as a winger, it's time to trade him for a #2 center.

Maybe GMMG has to have a team meeting and say "..the results haven't been acceptable this season. We value our players, but the results are not there and we may be asking player(s) with value to waive ntc's in order to make a change and turn this season around."

I hear you with the lack of impact/high salary/wanted by other teams players without ntc/nmc. I guess give it til Christmas and see where we are. The reset showed we are still getting the same results as last year. That was a good road trip back east, but we are now in a tougher division getting worse results.

If Hansen, Weise, Santorelli, Dalpe, Booth (even eating salary), Richardson, Schroeder etc... can garner some picks in a trade later in the season, I don't mind trading them. Maybe Schroeder as a rfa shouldn't be on that list- still young and may have more to show, but I have no problem trading ufa's or rfa's that have been here for awhile and still haven't lived up to expectations or are pegged as career bottom 3/6.

Thanks for not mentioning that. I wasn't thinking about that at all as I left the arena last night.....

Personally I thought it was a hell of a game. The nucks came out flat in the first but outside of that they played well. Very fun game to watch.

We got that different perspective from the Florida feed we saw/heard last night.

I liked the way Erik Gudbranson was hitting, good size and he used it.

I guess it goes without saying, every deal has to be looked at... It would be nice to move one or some ntc/nmc's instead, but with Corrado on the farm, we hopefully wouldn't miss one of the regulars now, Tanev included.

And just wanted to clarify, it was interesting to have the Panthers feed for a portion of the game last night. Different style than the more staid Canucks feed.

Edler should have been traded before his NTC kicked in.
