Hey Steve, thanks for the mention in the main blog. My main point is perspective. The Ducks have been ravaged by injuries and they have played more road games than any other team in the league and they're still doing pretty damn good. But I get your point though, controversy drives hits.

finished flash...I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

with this banged up roster, 6 out of 8 points against the best in the west is something to be proud of. heck, even with a fully healthy lineup that is a good stretch.

Maroon-Steckel-Jackman is the type of 4th line I want to see us play more often. However that leaves Etem, Palmieri, and eventually Silfverberg all vying for a spot on the 2nd line. I'm thinking Steckel and Etem will both be back in the AHL before long.

Getzlaf is on pace for about 100 points. granted he plays in all situations, but you still have to figure Crosby is going to be MVP unless he gets injured. He should end up with more points and he plays in an eastern conference market and for an NHL darling team.

Etem is great on the forecheck and p/k. This guy is really good . he has a motor like Cogliano

You're right about Crosby, except don't we all expect that from Sid and the Pens? Name one person in September that believed the Ducks would be in this position at any point during the season? IMO Getzlaf is the motor that drives this train and he is - right now - the most valuable player on this team or any.
