Tonight is a game where there are no excuses. Either they show up and play 60 minutes, or they go home and don't come back.
If a team cant get up for this game, they cant get up for any game, ever.

Keys to tonight's game:
1. GROW A PAIR
If you get a lead, keep it coming. If you fall behind, turn it up a notch. And, when and if the Caps score a goal, instead of rolling over like a whipped dog, act like men and get one right back!!
2. DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE!!
The entire Caps comeback started when the Flyers took a bad penalty. Use your friggin heads and don't give Ovie and the boys a bunch of pp opportunites!
3. CONTROL THE PACE
Watch the tape of the 2nd period of the last game. Repeat!!
Go Flyers!!

Don't forget which Flyers are named the scapegoat, win or lose. Candidates are:
1. Mark Streit (He's old and overpaid, and sucks offensively)
2. Scott "Suck" Hartnell (old, slow, overpaid, no talent, etc.)
3. Claude "Fraud" Giroux (overpaid, underperformer, bad captain)
4. Jake Voracek (one-hit wonder, etc.)
5. Wayne Simmonds (see Voracek)
6. Braydon Coburn (he's...bad, somehow, apparently?) |

Maybe they CAN get up for the game, but the Capitals also do and are just a better (regular season) team. |

That is no excuse for quitting, or coming out slow, or folding if they fall behind, or just letting Washington beat them 7-0 again. That may be fine for you, but not me.

1. Change it to mediocre offensively and it's a true statement
2. yes, sort of, slightly, some talent, but not enough to be on a top line
3. no, somewhat, but better of late, TBD
4. could be, we'll know soon
5. same as #4
6. not |

I thought you were talking about excuses for losing, not effort. My bad. |

The Flyers seem to have so much trouble stopping star players. It seems like every star player has ridiculous numbers against the Flyers.
I'm not going to lie. A little bit of me dies every time Crosby, Malkin and Ovechkin score against us. |

I like how you go into negotiations strong.
The Flyers have countered with 30 minutes of hard work and 10 minutes of moderately hard work. |

Yes, I am taking about effort. If they are going to lose, at least get beat, dont give it away like last game. |
