Ugh what a crappy day

Its bad enough I have to leave Key West and return to the arctic circle aka South Jersey. But whats worse is our final flight to AC leaves Ft. Myers at 9:20pm so I will miss both the Flyers and the Eagles games.

Hopefully when I get off the plane and fire up my phone I will get good news on both!

That does suck. When the Eagles were in the Super Bowl my dad was in Mexico and he had to watch the game in Spanish and had no idea what was going on. They, also, could only find one small bar which was showing the game on a small TV. There was soccer on all other TVs. He said from that point on, he will never organize a vacation around super bowl time just in case.

Super hockey day. Have the WJC semis Russia vs Sweden then Canada vs Finland. I have a hockey game and after that, Flyers hockey!

it seemed like we couldn't beat this team when they were awful so i'm not liking the chances of a win tonight. would like to get a point and a point in jersey to get that magical 8-ball of points that seemed so likely after the first three wins. .500 wouldn't look that great after starting 3-0

i kind of enjoy reliving all the oafish move that our gm's seem to make without ceasing (e.g. using first draft pick on 26 yo firemen, trading cliff lee away for nothing, letting moses malone walk after he finally wins you a title); trading away patrick sharp is pretty galling as he continues to grow into a great player. i feel like it gives me something to do in between games

Don't forget Hitch's role in getting rid of Sharp. It would be fitting if a goal by Sharp knocks the Blues out of the playoffs.
