Glad to see Hamhuis taken off the PP and Kesler moved to the point. I think Kesler's shot is more useful from back there. I'm not entirely opposed to Higgins on the first unit as a net presence but I think I'd like to see Kassian given that opportunity. |

Big two points here - not to mention the moral victory over the Kings |
|
|

I wonder if Weber Garrison on the point with Henrik Kesler and Sestito or Kassian on the first unit ? The Sedins
spend way too much time passing the damn puck waiting for the perfect shot is killing the PP time.
Try pass pass shoot screen rebound instead of that stupid cycle |

Like Carol said in her ratings ,our stars are not playing to their potential and it is Santorelli Richardson Sestito and Tanev that have been making the noise.
I think the kings will return to form against their arch rivals |

That happens with all teams, secondary scoring is so important! The Kings know what that's all about in that their fourth and third line guys like Dwight King, Jordan Nolan, Jarret Stoll & Tyler Toffoli all need to contribute for them to have success.
We're always saying we need more depth on the bottom six and then when we get it, we complain the top six guys aren't scoring enough? |

I have a bad feeling the Canucks will wake them out of the coma. This could be a very long month. |

I agree that it is important to have the bottom six going but our top 6 takes too many vacations also
I like what Sestito has been bringing as of late |

So what you are saying is that the Canucks need an upgrade to the top 12... |

Way too may. Usually only one shows up to play then gets brought down by the others lack of intensity. |

We always seem to be slump busters against teams that are struggling. Drives me nuts when our team goes into a game thinking they have it the bag before the puck drops; was especially bad when AV was here. Hopefully Torts cracks the whip after our last game against Tampa. |

No argument. Dion Phaneuf is the greatest defenseman in the history of the NHL. It is safe to say that no one will ever come close to his talent. It is a shame that he can only play for one team, he really should be allowed to suit up for all of the Canadian franchises. If he played for the Canucks they wouldn't need any other defensemen because Dion is so super awesome. |
