Go out, get on them early, score and discourage them. |

Bill Meltzer: Flyers Gameday: 1/20/14 @ New York Islanders; Bourdon Cleared - bmeltzer
Good News for Bourdon. Doesn't exactly help the Flyers' most pressing needs, but if he goes down to ADK and plays well, he's definitely an option for recall in case of injury or trade.
Not that he was great, but if he can get back to his previous level of play, he's a capable third pair guy and him being available eliminates a need to trade for depth defense help. |

They were seen holding hands and skipping. It appears they've put it all behind them |

???
Also, great news for MAB. Hopefully he can come back and get back to the level he was at (6th defenseman/tweener). He really seemed to fit in well before the injury. |

Sure, as soon as Gagne realizes that he's a 3rd liner or washed up and retires, it's all good |

Have you commented on the Mason deal yet?
I apologize if I missed it. Maybe you are saving it for a non game day blog. |

What was that between Giroux & Raffl when Giroux cursed him before he interviewed with Coates? |

My favorite scenario was someone suggesting Raffl said "That's why I'm in the Olympics and you're not." But I don't think anyone knows. And I'm sure it was the basic guys playing around thing. |

Just my opinion, but I bet those Coatsie interviews are looked upon with disdain by the players. I think Coatsie wanted to interview Raffl, and Raffl kind of avoided him forcing Coatsie to grab his 2nd choice for an interview: Giroux. Thus the "F you Ralf" comment by Giroux.

Personally Coatsey has to be the worst commentator in the NHL, he makes me wanna puke almost every time he opens his mouth. I just don't see how this guy keeps his job??? Don't blame the players not wanting to get interviewed by this guy. |

He seems to have no idea what's happening on the ice because he keeps telling his stupid stories even when there's a clear goal scoring chances unless JJ cuts him off. |

That's not far from the truth. That's the reason they moved him between the benches. He used to get drunk during the games. |

I still put him (and JJ as well) after Rick Jeanerette (he should have retired 15 years ago) and Jack Edwards (typical Bostonian, and biggest douchebag announcer in sports). |
