Still in a terrible rut, and Minny isn't perfect, but points are points. No doubt the win loss record is terrible here in January but some of the games haven't been awful.

I still wish the plan would be to trade all the vets you can for long term assets/draft picks. I fear we'll hold on to them and still finish 9-10.

I hate to see players like Fiddler, Robi, or even Daley go, but get the kids playing time and seasoning. We've already moved lots of favorites.

Nice recap Bill.

I agree with your assessment of seeing some of the veterans go but I really like giving the young guys more ice time.

I also think if they are serious about the rebuild it might make sense to listen to offers for Lehtnon. Let Campbell get as much experience as possible at the NHl level and see if he is going to be the number 1. I know it's crazy to talk about trading Lehtnon but I would guess he would bring the most return.

I'm all for trading Kari, he's good but not elite in my opinion. Would be interesting to see what he would do behind a better D, but for a good return I say do it. Most players older than Benn have had their chances and aren't part of the long term plan.

Untouchables in my opinion: Benn, Seguin, Dillion,Nichuskin, and probably Olesiak. Others I'd like to keep like Connatun Chaison Eakin and Rousell but gone for the right deal. (Pardon the spelling I'm sure it's bad but I'm on my phone.)
