Going to game ....hopefully they play well.....at least I don't have to drive through a snow storm to get there....I am lucky because it always seems the Canadian kids get up for games on Hockey Night in Canada.....although the ticket prices are extreme compared to Philly. |

These two teams are like mirror images of each other in most departments.
No problems creating offense…check
Problems defensively…check
Good on PP…check
Bad on face-offs…check
Block a lot of shots…check
Lots of hits…check
Allow short handed goals…check
The only differences I see are PK and shootouts. May not be a bad thing for the Flyers if this turns into a special teams game. |

Please remove the check next to "Good on PP" for Leafs.

Leafs get a lot of offense from the Kessel JVR line.
Match ups could be a challenge for the away team. |

They're 4th ranked on the PP in the NHL at 21%. Obviously that doesn't tell you how good in the clutch they've been on the PP when a big goal is needed.

I would say Tronna's goaltending has been stronger than ours. |

It's had to be... they're giving up 6 more shots against per game. |

Toronto is a strange team when it comes to advanced Stats. They allow a ton of shots, block a ton of shots, register a lot of hits and are a playoff team. |

Chief seems to have his job cut out for him. The young forwards still take some time off during the games, and refuse to play D. I really don't know the reason for this, but geeze they seem to get into that bad habit. I really question their work ethic, and maybe it's time to get some vets into the mix to provide them with some leadership. I am glad that G figured things out, before we had to trash the season. Don't get me wrong, G is a great player, but I am really starting to question his leadership skills. Yes, he can lead the team against the Pens, but is there any other team that he can get the Flyers over the hump against (playoff time)?
Just some thoughts for the off season. |

Really?
Clearly their leadership and work ethic has been horrible and is something they lack in which is proven by how many comeback wins they have had..
