A perception by who? No one in their right mind would even consider that Emery was the reason they lost. If they do, they know nothing about hockey, and perhaps you should stop hanging around these people because it obviously wears off on you daily.

As far as Emery's play in Gm1 goes, people blaming him for the game's outcome really need to rewatch the game. Hockey isn't THAT subjective. One team played a solid team game and one team played a passive team game.
