Glad Simmer took a day off. He hasn't really been himself lately.

Excited to see the Akeson train keep rolling. He's been a fine surprise recently.

I have no doubts Giroux will be a tank tonight.

Good write up Bill. I really think that the Flyers need to control the boards more and stop with the penalties. They did great killing the penalties in game 2, but we can't afford to continue that trend, especially if the PP is like game one. Get more shots on Lunquist and crash the net. Hoping for a great effort tonight and keep the crowd in it.

Just a heads up Bill, not sure Jesper Fast plays tonight. He didn't see much ice time in the 3rd and AV said yesterday he may look at some lineup changes.

If you guys dress Carcillo, it's almost a foregone conclusion that he will score a goal. So it isn't all that bad.

Nothing beats an NHL playoff game. You will never be excited to go see a regular season game again after tonite. My first playoff game was during those great series with the maple leafs in the early 2000's. It took 3 days to get my voice back.

My first playoff game was game 7 vs the Islanders in 1975!
My dad's cousin was sick, so I got to go in his place (I was all of 9!)

Kate Smith live, Bernie Parent was fabulous and the Flyers, after blowing a 3-0 lead in the series, completely dominated the Isles from start to finish in a convincing 4-1 win! Two weeks later, it was parade time again!

Unfortunately, you're right about that - although I think fans are more aware at a regular season flyers game then they are at a phillies or eagles game. sixers....does anybody go?

I have to go to Moddell's to get a flyers shirt at lunch - but I don't want people to think i'm jumping on the bandwagon, which couldn't be further from the truth - screw it, i need a new flyers shirt.

Keep the pressure on Hank, crowd him, screen him and pounce on rebounds.

Keep your cool
Initiate, don't retaliate. Rinaldo and Hartnell, get under THEIR skin, don't let them get under yours

I have a little problem tonight. Normally I dress my daughter in her flyers jersey for Flyers games, but on game 1 she wore it and they lost. On Easter Sunday she was wearing her Easter dress. SO I just recently washed her jersey... Does she wear her Jersey or do I go crazy and put her in her Easter dress again?
