Hextall can chirp all he wants, but Lowe knows a little something about winning, was it once or twice that he hoisted the cup, in front of Hextall?

Haters gonna hate is all... We are used as an example but many teams would like the options of players we have coming up... IT has been a dreadful road for all involved but one top 3 dman would certainly change things rather fast around here... not to mention a center like Spezza or of similar mold... We have pieces to move or money to sign... Lets just hope the players want to sign...

I remember when Philly tanked to draft JVR and they ended up giving him away for Luke Schenn. So it's a smart play on Hextall's part to not sit around and collect first overall picks.

He may be a hater, but sounds like more of a classic deflection, focusing negative attention onto something else, and avoid putting any attention on to himself, and what he is gonna do. That excerpt says little about his plans, just what he "isn't going to do, using the benefit of hindsight". Also it's Philly and they haven't won anything in about as long as the Casucks so who gives a flying (frank).

I like the Colorado model better. Manic highs followed by depressive lows. Much better than being in the gutter for an extended period.
