I heard he was injured last season, but either way he looked like poop in my opinion. Didnt see him every game (granted), but when i did see him, he looked old, slow, and tired.

I like the depth and was hoping to get him last off season. Like has been said he's aging and not what he used to be but the leadership he brings as a bottom six forward who can still bury the puck I like it

He may be useful. Not a bad signing if he can find his old touch. Low risk, potentially high reward.

Banged in a few goals, but overall there wasn't much left in the tank. It did not appear as though the Blues had any desire to bring him back.

Morrow is not being brought in to score goals or play top-6 minutes. He has experience and leadership. It's a relatively cheap contract with little risk. If he becomes a liability, he'll ride the pine or watch from the skybox. It's a decent signing. Although, I was hoping we'd bring in someone with more gas left in the tank. Like someone said earlier, he's not the best possession player and he's slowing down. He's definitely no Iginla. Maybe we can trade Morrow, a 7th round pick, and a bag of pucks to the Avs for Iginla. LOL.

If it's Morrow on a one-year deal or Iginla on a three-year deal, I'll take the former every day of the week.

Morrow is one of the biggest douchebags in the League. I rate him with Cammaleri and ROR on the douchebag meter. He sucks ass...

So Panik and Connolly got prove it contracts with 2 way deals. Sustr and Barberio got 1 way deals. I really feel the Lightning are going to carry 8 defensemen and 13 forwards. I read somewhere that Sustr can be sent down no waivers as long as its before the 16th game of the season so maybe at that point they make a final decision.

Holy (frank).. I hope he can still throw down cause thats why I think we signed him. MTL was in all of our star players face in the playoffs and nobody but gudas did (frank) all about it and then once prust tuned him up that was it.

I hate to say it because fightning doesn't really attract my attention that much in hockey, but I can't (frank)ing sit through another 82 game season and watch bishop get slashed and ran over every (frank)ing game because every team knew we wouldnt do (frank) all about it. Someone needs to have a set of balls on this roster and hopefully morrow brings them, and boyle too.

I wonder if the Lightning read the HockeyBuzz blog because they just released an article describing the differences between 1 and 2 way deals. Hahaha...

Goodbye, Carle?
One can dream of creating some more cap space, and then getting a serviceable d-man at a more reasonable cap hit, right?

It will take some work to get under the cap before opening day when Ohlund can be placed on Long Term Injured reserve. It's a distinct possibility that Carle or Brewer could be moved, for a pick or prospect.

Haven't we already played the Brewer in the top 4 game? In case you forgot it didn't go well

Carle's contract is almost Vinny level albatross for what you get outta Matt. Brewer is more likely a candidate.
