I'm glad Callahan and Dubinski aren't on the Rags anymore.

My dark horse candidate to join this list would be Brian Gibbons. We'll see if Columbus utilizes him on the PK. Did a very nice job in Pittsburgh.

He has a very small sample size which only includes 2013-14 but had 2.25 points/60 shorthanded and a CF%/60 of 18.0.

Henrique + Parise on the PK was death to all of our enemies.

How many points he averaged per 60 minutes on the PK was the bottom bar going right, individual shot attempts going up the y-axis. Basically, the higher on the y-axis and further down the x-axis the better.

Todd, I think you scared them off with the x,y.

- The higher up the better (the more shot attempts) and further to the right (more points per 60 min) the better.

All equating to the fact the Henrique is an offensive beast on the PK.

That's not a nose. It's a highly sophisticated cooling system.

Fantastic young player. Seems like he has a great work ethic. I thought he was particularly impressive in the Rangers series while other star players like Malkin were sleepwalking.

As for the graph, I think a lot of it has to do with the coaching and the Devils style of killing penalties. They take the rushes when they're there. Some other teams are coached to be content to send it the length and get a change.

So AH gets about 2.5 points per 60 minutes of 4v5 time..OK.

So is the model to be shorthanded more, so AH can blast the ceiling out with another point every what, 7-10 games? We're looking at a point from one player - not even a goal or a win - 2-3x a month.
smh.

Winning, something the Sabres have seen very little of over the past few years. For example, they won just 4 times after trading Miller

Henrique's 7 shorthanded points individually are impressive when you consider half the NHL's teams scored 6 SHG or fewer last year.

Shorthanded goals and PK can be momentum changers. I'd say it highlights his value.

Oh jeez, you figured it out. The ENTIRE system is built around this. That's why we struggled last year. Not enough penalties.
