If I was isles gm I would send a try out invitation to Morris as it couldn't hurt if he blows and if not you got a decent leader for the back end to steal some time from the kids. |

Derek Morris is def worth a shot. Can provide leadership, grit and still has a decent shot.
I also would look at Douglas Murray and I always liked Joe Corvo's shot from the point. |

I'd rather not sign anyone and start the year as is over Murray. We don't need a pitifully slow defenseman who takes too many penalties. He's done. |
