When you were officiating, not a game went by where you did not have an effect on the outcome. You always had to do something to make sure everyone knew that you were working that game!
i have never seen what u preach ,all i've seen is a set or out line of how to ref
the game..I E home team gets the benefit of the doubt & xtra PP on avg.team style a k a Flyers get slack for playing an over the top physical game,yet seem to suffer as much as they should,I appreciate the job u did but just like goal interference not called on L A in finals that resulted in a goal ,if @ home in MSG a different outcome or call probably ,review is coming to assist refs but the ref manage the game system is a revenue asset to support the home teams given to
all teams to keep as high a fan support as possible ...i have always felt the NYR suffered due to the lack of need to support NYR hockey, its probably as strong a franchise in the sport ....consider where hockey was with Alan Eagleson & his rigged game so the flyers could ruin& alter the growth of the sport ....short cut to revenue then but longer acceptance to legitimacy as a major sport ....at least the fight ing is almost done as a need to draw fans
