Haven't watched him play much but I'll say this much about Florentino, he seems to have the perfect situation going for him. The upbringing, his minor hockey, the influence/competitiveness from his siblings and the sabres organization. These don't sound like much on paper but i think it plays a vital role in player development

Considering where he was drafted and how little press he's gotten he's made some good strides. He's a little further down on the depth chart but his rise could give Murray the comfort he would need to trade one of the more "well known" prospects for a veteran when the time comes.

Agree. He himted at wantting to be the Sabres guy. Maybe he was bummed at beng passed over and wax sick of the Sens.
