I don't know if it is realistic to expect 100 points from a guy who didn't even manage 50 points in either of the full seasons he played in the NHL.

Would it be great? Of course.

A great season from Ennis would be 60 to 70 points. I know he has new line mates and all but 100 points would be one heck of an improvement.

If he comes anywhere close to 100 then I think the Sabres as a whole would have seriously over achieved this season.

It would be great to see him make the Sabres to start the season for his sake.

Although I wouldn't mind him starting the season in Rochester either. If he does start in Rochester, I don't think it will last long if he keeps it up. Still getting top line minutes and first unit power play time will be good for his continued development.

Either way it is a great story considering where he was a year ago.

" I’m not going to rule out a 100 point season for Ennis, or Moulson."

I'm going to rule it out along with any sane person that knows anything about the sport.

I’m not going to rule out a 100 point season for Ennis, or Moulson. Gionta will have 50 assists if he plays his cards right with his new linemates.

This is why nobody ever takes you seriously. Gionta's career high in assists is 41. Yet you think he will get 50 playing for the Sabres in the twilight of his career. You are brilliant!!

gionta with 50 assist is just wishful thinking, sabres fan will be happy if he plays more than 50 games and bank more than 40 points over the season.
