Any word yet on the extent of Parise's injury? All Russo reporting is "upper body".

Also agreed on Prosser. He had a couple of good games but has been a liability out there the last couple. I just don't think he can be counted on as a full time player. Nice fill in guy to have hanging around in case of injury, but he'll be expendable once Ballard is back. Not that Ballard is all that much more reliable, but it's that whole lesser of two evils thing....

I wonder if he would consider playing those two combinations together shorthanded? Maybe that will be the start of it.

Unfortunately, probably Zucker. Then he would probably have to move Niederreiter with Koivu and Coyle. Basically we need Parise, Haula, and Zucker all hurt at the same time and all the other lines to click. Then maybe he will be afraid to break up the other lines and these three can play together.

Jesus, I can't root for that. Maybe they can all get the flu so they're not really injured.
