Despite only coming up with 1 point I thought it was an entertaining game.

Lots of open ice! I was upset when the OT buzzer went, the shootout was a definite buzz killer that's for sure!

I wish I wasn't too busy watching the Isles game and I could have seen it.

Pepsi Center definitely let Robidas hear that he should go play in a non-contact woman's league. I was happy the ref called a 2 minute minor on him as well as Iginla. I really thought they were going to give the Leafs a powerplay going into OT.

The leafs were already down to 5 defensemen. Robidas putting himself in the box for 5 minutes wouldn't have been too smart especially since he would have been pummeled.

Whatever they come up with next to determine the end of a hockey game...my vote is for the split OT.

5 mins 4 on 4....horn sounds (or do you just play until the next whistle?)
5 mins 3 on 3 and I believe in that scenario.......you'll end a huge portion of hockey games with a winner/loser.

Only problem...was the 3 on 3 exciting because I haven't seen much of it and it's just another gimmick?

That sure was fun, but i'm skeptic. The entire game was fun because both of those teams could care less about defending...

I personally think they should keep the 4 vs 4 OT followed by a shootout. What should change is how many points you receive. 3 points for a win in regulation. 2 points for a win in OT or shootout. 1 point for a loss in OT or shootout. 0 points for losing in regulation.

I played in a 3 on 3 tournament back in the day and it was the most fun I have ever had on the ice.

Huge supporter of doing that to help decide games before shootouts. I really hate those and never liked the idea. Penalty shots were exciting because they didn't happen often. I think 3 on 3 would be exciting because it would be stars on stars. It would make for some awesome highlights.

The hit on iginla from behind going into the boards was hard, should have been called. Iginla hit his head on boards hard.

I had no issues with the hits, nothing bad about them.
Franson getting that slash on the stick on Tangs with 3mins when he could of had a partial break away, now that was garbage.

Had the stripes called the slash on that play, I think the Avs could have won the game in regulation.

No harm since we still won the game, but yeah it seemed pretty obvious and it resulted with Leafs gaining control of the puck and eventually pushing for that tying goal.

No harm this game, but things could have easily gone the other way, especially with the year the Avs are having so far.

tangs always seem to be the goat in those plays this year, jsut like in St Louis when we had an offensive zone faceoff and he was going to take it, and the linesmen just drops the puck before he even had his stick down.

I will say that is playing at a higher level that I really was expecting out of him. A really pleasent surprise sine he missed so much time last year

He's playing at a higher level than most of the team can say they're playing.
