Similar to the Heatley situation in ATL. Accident or not Heatley was reckless.

In the end Heatley was traded regardless of the talent he possessed.

I think voynov will get traded and I think it'll be to DET.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I planned on mentioning it towards the end of the piece.

I agree he will be moved but i dont think it will be to detriot since detriot seems to not like to pony up to the price tags ever. Edmonton is the more logical destination based on the higher return.

Most I'd pay is a third rounder, the guy is obviously overrated. Rory Fitzpatrick could get 34 points playing with the kings.

He will get a young dman back who has potential for top 4 stardom or a solid guy similar in age/cap. I could see him headed to the Island for Hamonic or Leddy.

He will be moved and the Kings will get a nice return. A later 1st round pick or prospect equivalent.

Pressing issue for a lot of teams is the information coming out that the cap for next year might be lower. Some teams will get spooked real hard. This is a very good contract that Kings will be able to easily move getting a strong piece back.

Kings have $56m committed already to 13 players next year. They have some very tough contracts to do next year with some very good young players. Moving a $4.1m contract for a good return right now might actually be an opportunity at this time.

Trade him to the Russian Women's hockey team, he'll whip that team into shape for sure.

I'm sure he'd rather go there versus the Canadian women's hockey team aka Vancouver Canucks

eberle Do I have to remind you this kids career high is 4 goals, and 99% of his assists were second assists. Keith Ballard had 39 points in a year.

A few days late on the McBain in Manchester deal. I think LA moves Voynov if the deal is right. Team is obviously playing just fine without him. Hell. Even played with 5 dman. The team could really use some relief though. If he stays suspended which he shouldnt because there arent any charges, they should drop letting him get payed.

The Isles are better off keeping both those guys. Moving either one of them for Voynov doesnt help them.

Mantha .... Just kidding. Who knows what the price would be. Let's put aside the fact of this whole legal issue, what was he worth before? A top prospect that's for sure and maybe a pick to go along with it? Voynov is young and is easily a top 4 Dman on many teams and it's a plus that he is right handed... Can the Kings get full value, probably not and that's what sucks
