Another win at this team is making a name for itself this year.....

Bailey & Tavares both took really bad penalties. They need to play their game with the confidence they've showed the past 3 or 4 games. Puck control, solid, unit defense, & attack in waves. Hopefully they play a solid 60 minute game tonight.

Ha ha, got it. They're already won 5 in a row. I would consider that a winning streak. Where would you be doing this streaking? Oh, wait, I live in Arizona, streak away!

completely agree with this....its frustrating to watch at times...I just wonder that had a linemate seen the cute play coming it would turn into a sweet goal...can think of a few times that JT would make a pass that nobody saw coming in the building let alone a teammate but had they it would have been a goal....right now they focus on JT and KO.....I still think its time to try another guy up on line 1...

Agreed. Hes been "off". Knowing jt and the competitor he is hes aware. If he gets out of this funk while everyone else is contributing watch out we will be a force. I said bailey on the first line a few times over the yrs. Maybe it'll work? Im beginning to realize he needs another legit scoring winger.

I wouldnt mind a yakupov or kane but im not willing to give up what it'd take. We may have an answer within our club? Im willing to give it some time to see if we do as long as Capuano doesnt beat a dead horse like he did with conacher. Bailey is worth a shot up there imo.

he will be, but watching him right now, does it look like he's enjoying himself and having fun? he looks frustrated and unhappy. I'm wondering if he's nursing an injury. just doesn't seem to have that extra gear this year, at least so far.

he doesnt have a player on his wing that he jells with like he did MM and TV.. he will.. he needs someone that can finish like Nelson or Lee.

I was wondering the same thing. Hockey players are famous for hiding minor injuries to make it harder for opponents to take advantage of them.

Regarding his looking frustrated and unhappy, one of his great attributes is that he sets the highest standards for himself. I don't think we'll really see him smiling until he hoists the Cup.

Winning the 6th in a row would be great. Realistically, I think I would be satisfied with anything other than a regulation loss.

I'm sure he loves that the team is winning. But he still has his own personal expectations. Even if my team won I would still be disappointed in myself if I knew I didn't have a good game. Bottom line, his team is having the best season of his NHL career and he doesn't look happy. Something isn't right. It may not be a big deal, but something is a little off.

It's really nice to see three legit d pairings. Really nice.
To be fair, they played bad the last 10 minutes of regulation and overtime. The Tavares penalty really took the wind out of our sails. Overtime wasn't pretty either, but, like Dan said we got the 2.
