Bill, what's the likelihood of Brayden Schenn being moved? Are the Flyers really unhappy with his play? I think he's finally found his niche on the first line. Can he improve? Absolutely. But I sense a nice chemistry between Giroux, Voracek, and Schenn.

Also happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope everyone is safe for those who are traveling tomorrow.

I will be there tonight/tomorrow and I haven't missed a game between the Flyers and Red Wings since 2006. I've only seen the Flyers beat the Wings at the Joe during the regular season twice. I've also seen them win during a pre season game where Jagr was a beast. Sadly for the most part, the Wings normally have the upper hand. Also, both rosters aren't what they once were. Still should be a fun game though. I'm hoping for the seven defensemen look once more.

Of all the under-performing players, I'd be shocked if Flyers management was upset with B Schenn. If he gets moved, I'd suspect it's because he has value to other clubs as opposed to the Flyers wanting to be rid of him. He is, in my opinion, playing his best hockey to date in Orange and Black. And he's still young.

Just my take on things.

Absolutely. He's shooting when he's supposed to shoot. He's passing when he's supposed to pass. He is the top line's physical presence. Most importantly the three players are supporting one another well. Schenn has a heavy shot and contributes to the first PP unit. What's not to like?

Nothing wrong with he face either but I do agree his brother has to go.

I think Schenn is rounding into a first line left winger with 28 and 93. If they even thought about trading him I would be so peed off.

What to do with Bumberger and Vinny is the 64 dollar question.

Flyers should be able to fleece the Oilers if they get rid of Grossmann, Umberger,MacDonald,Luke Schenn or Vinny.

But I sense a nice chemistry between Giroux, Voracek, and Schenn.

That doorknob was a huge scorer in the QMJHL

Flyers should be able to fleece the Oilers if they get rid of Grossmann, Umberger,MacDonald,Luke Schenn or Vinny.

No one is fleecing the Oilers when MacT is trying to sell players at 5 times their actual value.

I'm kind of amazed that they haven't at least made a minor deal yet. There are a few avenues where these teams could benefit from working together.

Saw the rumors concerning B Schenn, B Coburn for possibly Eberle and Yak, I don't think that is a good deal for the Flyers unless we get a pick as well...Coburn is a young D man with proven value and Schenn has proven to be at least a top 6 forward at a much better price than Eberle's 6m a year...maybe it is me, but I just can't see the Flyers doing this deal...
