Really disappointing to end the road trip like that. The kings game should've served as a springboard to a team with a pulse. Im Not sure that this team has one. They play and look just as foul as their record suggests with no end in sight

2 wins in the last 13 games. One against a depleted Jackets team with no Bobrovsky, and the other against the Kings where they were completely dominated for 40 minutes, only Mason standing on his head got them 2 points.

Spend the most money in the NHL and be bottom of the League team... Completely unacceptable. Snider is proud of them though. He's home baking the team cookies today.

We sure could use a player like Hartnell right now.

Yeah. Hartnell and JVR would look good playing LW for us. Oh wait.. We received a healthy scratch and Hamburglar in return.

I don't advocate tanking...

A good loss against a better club...

I hope that Hextall is able to trade anything with Value at the deadline to accumulate as many draft picks in this years draft as possible.

What happened to Read and Couturier?
Unless they are having unknown injury issues I really don't understand these guys.
They are supposed to be PK specialist's and yet our PK is horrid.
They are supposed to be 2nd tier point contributing players...they have not been.
I get the fact players go into slumps but this is no slump

This team is very frustrating and to top it off they have NO physical game and believe it or not they are the ones who get pushed around every game.

It's definitely not like it used to be

It's not tanking if you legitimately stink.

The Flyers need to plan for 3 years from now. Anyone not in the plans for then should be moved for assets.

Actually, they did beat Bobrovsky. They lost to McElhinney the previous meeting. Much better, I know .

Bill, " So so" is being extremely kind. Two of these points came from last second goals in otherwise poor efforts.

I still think our roster is somewhat better than our record indicates but what is (or isn't) being constructed on ice is just not cutting it.

Exactly. This is why I am not frustrated with the loss or losing. I can see this club isn't good enough to compete with the top dogs.

Or Berube understanding that you can play a physical game and still stay out of the box.

Would people be okay with the following at the deadline?

Coburn for 1st and B level prospect
Read for a 2nd and 3rd
Rinaldo for 3rd

Good to see Rinaldo take another penalty last night. At least when he's in the box the PK does yeomans work.

Gives us a fair deal of cap room to play with and a lot of quality picks in this draft.

I am glad you pick reason 37 of things wrong with this team.

Rinaldo is really low compared to some of the problems following this team.

Right now I would ask Read just like Coach Chadwick did in youngblood....

"How did you get so horsepoop in 1 year!?"

Both guys have been putrid of late (for much of the year)...but they both still get the minutes....those two on the PP is awful....but what are Berube's options??? I asked a few weeks back for Bill's opinion on Couturier to see if his drop in play had the Flyers concerned.....I think everyone assumed that their play would get better, things would level off...they haven't things have gotten worse..... I do wonder why Berube hasn't separated them????? I understand why they are in the line up.....but there play has gone beyond stale....

Rinaldo is a waste of time. He's not a player on a winning roster. Pretty simple. A -9 playing limited 4th line minutes, lack of discipline, not a lick of skill. Complete waste.
