Nice read Boos.
You're right about Duff's take. There was a disconnect last night. |

I don't say this to be a troll, but 89 has used a remarkably prophetic phrase for many months in these threads, as he predicted that one day PK would "torpedo himself into the boards."
Like 89, I am not a Kaleta fan, but I don't ever want to see anyone hurt: that made me wince.
Any word on how bad it is? |

oh my
"The Buffalo Sabres have the pieces to make a pitch for Oilers winger Taylor Hall. Options could include defensemen Tyler Myers and Mark Pysyk, forward Cody Hodgson and goalies Jhonas Enroth or Michal Neuvirth. They could also include first-round draft picks acquired from the NY Islanders and St. Louis Blues.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: I can see the Sabres making a pitch for Hall, especially if they land Connor McDavid or Jack Eichel in the draft, but that proposed return doesn’t sufficiently address the Oilers needs. Enroth and Neuvirth could be Scrivens or Fasth revisited, Myers isn’t the experienced top-two defenseman capable of anchoring a rebuilding defense while Hodgson hasn’t proven himself as a reliable top-six forward. Coach Doug Marrone has a three-day window to opt out of his contract.
That window closes at the end of the day Wednesday. It was inserted into Marrone's contract when the Bills changed ownership earlier this season. While it would seem unlikely Marrone will exercise his opt-out clause, ESPN's Adam Schefter believes Marrone could be the top candidate on the open market if he sets himself free. Marrone reportedly butted heads with members of the Bills' front office earlier in the year. Schefter doesn't think it's a "dead-lock clinch, an automatic thing" that Marrone returns to Buffalo. |

If you have a chance to get Hall and Myers goes the other way, you do that deal all day long. |

Mr. Murray, Mr. Nolan and not least of all Mr. Black disagree with you.
But it's Mr. Murray whom you should pay attention to in all honesty. Any player can be had, if the price is met. And the prices at FNC for players these days, well, let's just say there are no coupons, no black friday prices and no inventory clearance sales in the foreseeable future.
Spector is grasping, as many writers often do. Moves will be made, but they will be made on Mr. Murray's terms. This much you can take to the bank. |

I can't stand Kaleta but, 2 things................ I like his fight and want him to it more often instead of being a turtle.....also, if Cowen wasn't "riding" Kaleta into the boards he wouldn't have gotten hurt.
It's just a matter of time for that Kaleta |

i'll never get the hate for continued hating on kaleta...he's tempered his stupidity immensely and has no fear of any opponent...even took on lucic, for god's sake...is he a part of the future?...maybe not, but credit where credit is due
plays an all-out game...hello, grigs, hodge, benoit, kyle orton, etc... |

if he doesn't change his offensive coordinator, he's free to take Hackett with him to his new job
