Doubt that. They sent him to Modo because they thought it was a better league for him. So, I doubt they'd send him for the Marlies unless they want to 'demote' him which given his play is highly unlikely.

Out west on the road seems like a good spot to get him in..... Late game, on the road not as much pressure, but on the other had playing some dam good teams and they are big and nasty.

Now the bad news is it is for your newly selected coach going ace over apex on the ice shown in a gif. I'm extremely surprised it got air time here but hey any publicity is good publicity right. Doubt it would have got air time if it had of been the Habs.

That rule only applies to CHL players. He's not one of them.

That only a applies to player drafted out of the chl,as nylander wasn't drafted from a chl team he is able to be sent to the AHL.

Where's this rumour from? And what'd he do?

the timing of this move seems really strange (if the plan is to put him in the NHL). This team is under the microscope right now, perhaps more than i remember them being in the last 3-4 years. They're struggling in several areas, but it doesn't seem like scoring is one of them. i can't see nylander coming in and helping to turn this around....not saying they can't turn it around, just that what nylander seems to bring isn't what they need to turn it around.

seems like a weird move that has a higher chance of blowing up in their face as it does of succeeding.

i hope, for your guys sake, that they put him in the AHL. seems like a real solid prospect, would hate to see his development delayed or stalled because of a panic move.

Maybe the plan all along was to have him play in the SHL to start the season and see how he fairs. Then Recall him at the half way point to play in the AHL to acclimate him to the smaller rink.

That rule is only for the CHL.
