Must be pretty sucky for CBJ fans to have to watch Voracek show up for the ASG in their city leading the league in points while all they have to show for it is Jack Johnson.

Kinda thought Sreit deserved to be there... Oh well.

I always enjoy the skills competition. I haven't watched a full All-Star game in years though. It's very boring, IMO.

I wonder what Giroux and Voracek participate in for the skills comp. Thats about all I watch.

If they had a puck control/protection event. Voracek wins, hands down.

Yeah the skills competition is far better than the ASG. Also, the skills competition is done in the player's normal jersey, not those hi-liter explosion disaster that the NHL unleashed on us.

Me too. I've lost all respect for kessel as a player. The effort he gives os inaccepatable for a player makong what he does and hes a player that ses to play the game because hes good at it and not because he loves it. No way he should be at the ASG IMO.

The bob trade was obviously a winner for them but we won on mase. I'm still ecstatic that we got mase and that he's seemed to improve since arriving. Bob has received more accolades, and mase seems to get a bad rap but with everything he brings to the team ie. solid puck stopping and also plays the puck very well it's pretty much a wash.

Totally agree. That is one guy I would not want on my team. I have had countless arguments with the local Leaf fans about Kessel and Giroux. They try to tell me they would rather have Kesssel. I just want to bang my head off the wall. I swear their fan base is as stupid as their management and ownership

Maybe not, but I bet he could afford to replace his Ferrari when he wrecked it unlike jack whose parents managed his cash so well that he's working for nothing. The worst thing jakes mom has done is make him fat on dumplings during the lockout.

Mason has a career .920 s% as a Flyer. I doubt Bob posts that with the Flyers defense. Currently this season Mason has a .920 % and Bob has a .913 %. I dont feel like we lost on Bob at all.

Agreed. I'd love to see mase with a solid nhl d corps say like we had in 2010 or 2011. Tbh he probably has not played for a decent defense in his entire career.

Trust me, I have had those same arguments. It's absurd. The Coyotes blogger (James Tanner) thinks that Kessel is the best winger in the NHL.

Yeah, I've always enjoyed the skills stuff a lot more than the game. I remember one year they had Marc Savard mic'd up for it and he seemed like a really nice, down to earth guy.
