Stalock isnt a bad second and well outplays Niemi alot but doesnt get a fair shot because they wont sit Niemi on the bench.

Its not out of the realm at all but doubt they move him. Like Tim has mentioned they just waited too long. Summer 2014 was the time.

Right a Ward possibility would be inthe offseason if it were to happen. The Sharks could definitely swing it then..... i just worry what the Canes would want for him, i'm against moving 1st & 2nd rd picks & top tier prospects.

I think the Sharks need to pick a goalie who will sign for cheap on a one year deal while they wait for a real starter to become available either via trade of FA. Committing to Niemi for extended term or any of those goalies for extended term is a terrible idea.

Yeah whoever they go after you'd figure it'll be a tandem with Stalock next year.........like it should've been this year, instead we got Todd playing the vets no Stalock..........no Mirco....... they'll have to wait till next season to get sustainable playing time, when in reality they should've been playing all year to get ready for next season.............but that's what happens when you got the wrong bench boss who's a lame duck & doesn't care about the future.

I seriously doubt any team would trade for Nemo as a backup why give up assets for that. Plus we (frank)ing need him as we have no other goalie who could back up Stalock right now. Like we always say Nemo should've been traded last offseason.

Well from the looks of things they're beating down his confidence as much as possible to give Hannan and Irwin a chance to make sure they don't miss informing anyone they are terrible at defence.

They're also making sure that he doesn't further his development too soon, eats premium popcorn and gets paid handsomely to watch Antti Niemi flop around aimlessly in the crease as he searches for that elusive black piece of rubber that consistently evades him.
