Always loved watching Desjardins play, he was so smooth. I would rate him neck and neck with Kimmo Timonen for the 2nd best Flyer dman of all time. Mark Howe is far and away the best. All in all, he is extremely deserving of the Flyers Hall of Fame and I look forward to watching the ceremony.

On another topic: Bill, do you think there is any chance that the reason MDZ missed practice is because a deal is about to go down? Seems kind of odd that a 24 year old player, who didn't seem to get injured in any way last night, would need a maintenance day.

Listen, everyone knows it's super easy to just trade players so I think we can all agree to just trade the Schenns for any old complimentary piece (stamkos?) and then start all rookie defensemen/bench all veteran defensemen except Kimmo, who should really be in the lineup tomorrow night paired with Marek Zidlicky for old times sake (old school preds) agreed? Cool? Cool.
