Hopefully Palat is ok, his injury has me nervous. That kids stirs the drink of the triplets line.

Powerplay has to improve, 4 chances no goals... we need at least 1 against a goalie of Price's caliber.

21-7 scoring chances, 36-19 shots. I don't know about you Michael but it sure looked like the Habs could only collapse their D settle for a puncher's chance on a rebound or turnover going the other way.

The Bolts came in waves and the Habs had nothing for all four lines for the most part.

I hope the team does not let down going into Boston.

Cooper on Palat injury: "We’ll reevaluate tomorrow, but I think the picture looked good so should be OK."

Yeah, Habs had absolutely nothing. They would get the puck, take it into the Lightning zone, get one shot, and then head back the other way. No sustained possession really.

Solid win, epic game, definitely had playoff intensity. We really need to get our powerplay going though.

Price is a stud. Without him, the Habs are only average.

Well... TB will play for the cup this year. Nope ! Price won't be enough to stop them. What a scoring depth ! No Hedman on PP ? What the hell ?

Even if Palat is out, I would still the scared seeing Drouin getting more ice time.

Really, if Price doesn't pull those performances game after game, we're battling for a playoff spot.

Dominance by 20 players : TB 19 - Mtl 1.

I hate speculating but if Palat has to miss games I want to see Drouin with Stamkos-Callahan, move Killorn to Johnson-Kucherov.

I think that gives each line better all around play as Ryan can dig for Steven and Jonathan and Alex can dig for Tyler and Nikita and each line has two playmakers.

Leave the third line the same and put Brown back on the fourth line.

One thing I didn't like was all the 2-on-1 rushes the canadians got. I'd say the bounty of chances went Montreals way as far as odd man rushes and breakaways. Bishop made a huge save and so did Price. Luckily whomever that one guy was managed to break it up well each time.

Finally had a chance to see what Sustr is all about, I did like him using his body to hold guys to the boards, he seems to have trouble making a pass in movement. He looks inexperienced out there. Had I not known better I'd never guess he had 100+ games under his belt. Though as far as defense goes I'd rather have him than Barberio. Barbs gave the Canadians their first good opportunity off a clumsy play that I do not think was at all Sustr's fault. I'd rather have Sustr as #6 than Barbs given that the others can effectively bring what offense on the blueline Barbs brings.

I can see potential with Sustr, but maybe he's that type of a guy that won't find a level of ferocity without getting traded. He has size and just seems to cautious to properly use it. But he does a decent job clearing/keeping the puck away for the most part and seems to have an eagerness to his play.

Still concerned about Namestikov going into the playoffs, there was an opportunity had he been willing to take a hit, but he hesitated and lost out. (Wish that had been Brown there)

I really hope we get to see more of Drouin and Stamkos soon, Callahan is a decent complement given that he forechecks hard and has some skill, but Stamkos doesn't have that complementary offensive presence to help bolster his games.

The powerplay looked sad, unmotivated. I'd have to think something is wrong there. Just move the puck around a little bit and if nothing opens up then get dirty.

Overall, not a great game from what I saw by the Bolts, but they did outshoot them and we did win. Coburn was physical and we saw the triplets get some of the best chances of any of the Bolts as usual. We win! Woot!

Our PP wasn't the problem. Carey Price was the problem.

I'd rather stay second in the division so we could vs the red wings, since if we were first seed we'd have to face the Bruins who have had our number for the longest time

Unless we let one of our guys run price into like Gallegher ran into Bishop, you know For no reason and after the whistle.

Price was phenomenal and so were the triplets. They are fun to watch and Drouin is really getting his confidence up. Our PP was 0-4 but Montreal PK is 85% and higher at home so nothing to complain about they have been strong on the PK all year. Price stole a point but Cally should have put that one away, he didn't get all of it so a great save by Price. Well on to Boston and time to break the drought.

Honestly, can't say that this looked like a total dominance game. There were times when Tampa had Mtl hemmed in and got a boatload of quick shots one after the other that i think make the shot differential look a little more dramatic then the game showed.

Like somebody else said tampa gave up several quality odd man rushes that could have cost them the game. While Price played great as usual I dont think this game was nearly as one sided as this blog makes it out to be.

Was a good game to watch in spite of the score with some big hits and good plays. Both powerplays looked anemic though.

Killorn is looking more and more like he's not just riding stamkos' coattails. That's depth

The same thing happened to Price in the Rangers series last season.
