i really don't think it matters where Montreal finishes at this point. playing Boston/Washington/Detroit... not a huge difference between those teams. question is, assuming we advanced to play Tampa in round 2, would MT alter his game plan for that series? Montreal's passive/chip it out style seems to play right into the hands of a fast, aggressive Tampa team. it's easy to point to that first period and say it was 2 bad breaks (self-inflicted, however), but from what i saw, Montreal didn't have a single good scoring opportunity in the period despite 12 shots. |

as I said the other day, Flynn, Mitchell and Petry were on the worse defensive teams in the league. So I'm not sure what we could or should expect from them.
Smittepelé, he skates into the offensive zone, dishes a hit, then struggles to come back to the bench, completely exhausted. |
