Doesn't matter how far away the puck is, why even bring that up? It's how long ago the puck left his stick. Pretty average hit no one would care about if Letang didn't fall awkwardly.

No suspension, happened in a bad spot boards broke his fall. Garth trying to make up a story when there isn't anything to be had yet again.

I would agree with you and recommend you review Robert Bortuzzo blowing up Jaromir Jagr earlier in the season. Bortz was suspended 2 games and the puck was not off of Jagr's stick as long as it was gone from Letangs. I don't think anything will come of it or really should. I also did not think Bortz deserved the two he got for rocking Jagr. Who knows though with the consistantly inconsistant department of player safety.

That was as clean a hit as I've seen. Wasn't particularly late, either. It sucks that Letang got rocked and hit his head but that was just a solid, huge hit.

Downie said it wasn't dirty So....... To bad for letang, feel bad for the guy.

Garth thinks distance from the puck instead of time determines whether a hit is late or not. That's cute.
