He's shown some slick hands, although small I wouldn't mind him being the 3rd line center if he can be defensively responsible.

He was getting defensive zone starts last game, to get those over Roys golden boy Cliche...I think hes on that path to a 3rd line C

the feels are real. you had to know during those 2 years spent in a dark room of concussion symptoms and doubt, joey hishon wondered if this moment would ever actually come for him. 5 years later here we are, and I can't wait to see what the kid does next

Thats why if they do move McGinn or Mitchell for D Help or decide to add a UFA forward like Stafford they still look like they have some decent lines.

Yep i don't mind those lines either. I do think mackinnon and duchene together would be deadly though. Can't knock iggy he has done everything expected of him and more this year but i think duchene has been getting hung out to dry without a linemate that can actually keep up with him. Which i think has caused his production to dip because he can't turn on the jets and use his north south speed without stopping and delaying on the half wall or running out of room in the corner because he has no one to dish the puck to. I really like mcginn too but i think mitchell should be the guy kept if they have to choose. He can play all throughout the lineup 1st to 4th pp pk and take d zone draws kind of reminds me of dave holland when he was with the hawks.

I think the keeping up with dutch thing is a bit of a myth or we over think about that when it comes to dutchs line, RoR and McGinn are not speed demons either and those 3 together last year all had career numbers being on a line together. But I agree he needs more consistent line mates so McGinn and Iggy would give him some consistency

I like having Duch and Mac on seperate lines. Putting all of our speed on one line doesn't make much sense. Plus I think the MOL line is pretty well established. I like McGinn more because he knows his role at all times. Mitchell tries to dance around people to often for my taste.
