Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Review: A Humbling Defeat, Suspensions Not Likely
No supplementary discipline is expected after more late-game fisticuffs concluded the Vancouver Canucks' 4-2 loss to the Calgary Flames on Sunday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome. - Carol Schram
Don't worry, guys. Most people said this series to be 6 or 7 games. The series is playing out as many people predicted it would. Game 1 could have gone either way. I thought the Canucks were the better team in game 1, just couldn't bury their scoring chances. Game 2 the Canucks were much better than the Flames and game 3 the Flames were much better than the Canucks. It's been pretty even. Neither of these 2 teams will go to win the Cup this year, and so far I've taken away more positives from this series than from their previous 2 series against LA and San Jose in which they were obliterated and bullied. Canucks are sticking up for themselves and their team mates and fighting back. I like it. I prefer GIF's of a pissed off Bieksa filling Ferland than the little rat Marchand speed bagging Sedin. So far, so good. |

No suspension for Burrows.
I love how aggressive he was with Russell, totally owned him. Same with Bieksa or Ferland. Boys are ready to play the physical game if need be. |

Is Russell not a scrapper? I thought he was tougher than that. |

Any update on Hiller? Heard he might have pulled a hammy. Looked pretty shaken up after that flop. |

Canucks dominated game 2 and should have won game 1. Played bad last night, but people are really overreacting. C'mon guys, it's not like us to overreact. |

Based on how they played last night or in the first 2 games?
Game 1 was even. Canucks should have won. Game 2 the Canucks dominated. Game 3 the Canucks got dominated. It's been an even series so far. Should be 2-1 Canucks. - hankthetank
For me it's not about the results of the first three games. Just noticing a vast difference in emotional and physical intensity between the two teams. I expected Canucks to have an edge going into the series because of their playoff experience.
But it seems the Flames have already reached that extra gear, where the canucks are just starting to find it. |

totally agree, when the canucks won they dominated, and when they lost they should've won or just played bad. full control |

RT @Fan960Steinberg: #Flames have recalled Joni Ortio.
Hiller may have actually injured himself diving. |

The tone was set early last night after that huge hit on Sbisa. Canucks were hurrying up their passes and looking out for freight trains.
Congrats to Flames for bringing their A game.
The atmosphere was intimidating, the sea of red. I heard on the 1040 some fans were even taking off their Canucks gear so they didn't get singled out. Awesome job by the Calgary fan base.
It is one game but, if we play anything that resembles last night , we will be in big trouble.
I liked the game last night I though, excellent playoff style hockey.it is ok to lose as long as you learn and you go down fighting.
I was very impressed with Hamhuis Burrows the Twins and Bo this series. They bring it every shift.
The rest of the team really needs to increase their effort. |

The thing that made me laugh the most last night was apparently if your not playing at home you don't need to hit the other players. Example kenins. |

The canucks have an uncanny ability to make stars out of ordinary players. Unfortunately, those ordinary players play for opposing teams. |
