Did Calgary trade their stat away to Columbus for a new gatorade jug? Columbus now has 4th and 16th spots.

I wonder how much the snorting business had to do with this season's terrible numbers...

two different charts. First one is 1 goal games. 2nd one is leading after 2.

Yah, but as hockeybuzz reader, I am entitled to ignore the facts, and pick and choose what I want, so as to embellish the story I want to beleve.

Having watched most all of the Kings games this yr- I saw a tendency for them to stay back and with the depleted back end and off yrs of other D men this led to many leads disappearing - that and the fact they couldn't finish in OT or the shootout was the reason for missing the post season - I'm interested in seeing who they bring on the back end to replace 44 and Voynov as I think he has played his last game as a King - Regardless this team is going to have a major overhaul - I can see as many as 8 new faces D & F being different -

Colin Miller is my bet if they want to replace Voynov, more of a natural fit than anyone else in the pipeline.

Plus he's fast (which we need) and he's got a rocket of a shot.

If they keep it internal, and they feel comfortable enough, I think he gets the call, even though Forbort is probably more polished. He's a lefty though, so they may keep him down, more of a replacement for a Mitchell/Scuderi type player. I doubt they feel comfortable with 2 rookies on D, so one or another. If Voynov is gone, Miller has a better shot.

Otherwise I would say we only have 2 or 3 new faces next year.

It will also be interesting to see who get at 13 in this years draft. Not saying he'll make the team straight away, but he should be good considering how deep the draft looks so far.

The kings had an uncanny amount of blown 3rd period leads. This and the inability to win those one goal games led to squandered points. It's just symptomatic of their problem for he whole year. http://royallycrowned.com
