Any word on where Auston Mathews is going next year? I believe Everett silvertips have his rights but he could follow Eichel and go NCAA. I've watched him him the WJC and (score) yesterday in the World championships. He also broke Kane/kessel/eichels NTDP scoring record.
Kids a monster and could very well pass the Eichel hype next next. I'm pumped, this is great for USA hockey to have these two to lead the charge against Mcdavid for the next decade. |

So I just spent the morning reading through the last blog's comments and:
Kessel - No.
Oshie - No.
Backes - YES!
ROR - Not for what they're (supposedly) asking for.
I really hope we aren't planning on offer sheeting anyone. Bad idea in my opinion.
And Pierce and homie, you guys are (frank)ing crazy if you'd trade Dareus to get back into the first round this year. |

My guess would be that with how rough of a year it was in general, they felt it was better to just leave things be.
Especially after Murray got lambasted in the media at the draft lottery. |
