Based on how deep this draft is I'd say the oilers 16th pick is pretty much a top 10 pick in any other draft. The only trade I can think of with a top ten pick being traded recently was 9th overall for Cory Schneider. IMO if the oilers don't get that kind of value for the 16th pick they should just keep it.

Novak could be a smart pick, central scouting has him in the top 30 but im thinking he'll go mid to late 2nd round as well.


I'd be surprised if Sprong made it to 33 though. Some question marks there but the offensive talent is definitely 1st round worthy.

I think it's unlikely Eberle gets moved because he's A) Good and B) Hall's best friend...BUT, if he were to be moved I would expect a Dman and a Prospect in return, plus something else depending on the Dman.
