Well, at least Timonen is just one win away from a Cup ring.

And, draft day is one day closer!

Seven is actually the most stressful place to draw a player. The guys you really want won't be available. The guys you would be happy with MAY be there. And a lot of guys you really don't care about will likely be there. I guess Barzal fits into that second category.

Only if Toronto is willing to swap him for a package of VLC, Umberger and AMac.

There will be quite a few top prospects still on the board at #7.

I want no part of Kessel. The guy is just lazy. Yes he can shoot but he really only plays inside the opposing teams blue line.

There's 13 players in this draft I'd be happy with at 7. The only stress for me is figuring out which ones will be there at seven. I think Barzal, Zacha, Connor & Provorov might end up being as good or better than Strome, Marner or Hanifin.

If I was the Flyers, no.

There's not enough space and too many holes for a luxury item. If they can dump Vinny, Umberger, MacDonald, Grossmann & Luke Schenn without any cap implications, sure.

But the Flyers desperately need a number one D-man adding Kessel makes that hard. Also, got to re-sign Voracek.

Hoping for a Game 7 and a great draft before the long hockey-free Summer.

Ken "the Rat" Linseman!!!

Still think he would have been the next captain if he wasn't so penalty prone

Yeah, if there was no cap.

otherwise that would make $25 million for top 3 forwards, plus we would have 3 top 6 RWers.

If you're trading for Kessel, it's going to cost you some players. I'd imagine that Simmonds or Brayden Schenn is part of the cost

Thanks Bill. Meier has a nice video collection, and seems to have an even keel personality. Plus, he has a nose for the net, and isn't afraid to go down low when he sees an opportunity. He is listed at 6'1", and 208 lbs, so he's a good size, and looks like he can skate a little bit. Interesting pick if you ask me.

A lot of above average players selected at 7. Voracek is the best of them. A lot of disappointments though.

2014 Hayden Fleury
2013 Darnell Nurse
2012 Mathew Dumba
2011 Mark Scheifele
2010 Jeff Skinner
2009 Nazem Kadri
2008 Colin Wilson
2007 Jakub Voracek
2006 Kyle Okposo
2005 Jack Skille
2004 Rostislav Olesz
2003 Ryan Suter
2002 Joffrey Lupul
2001 Mike Komisarek
2000 Lars Jonsson

Can't really count Kadri on up. Colin Wilson just now had a coming out party in these playoffs. It takes time.

Kessel would balloon to over 300 lbs here.
