Nice write Bud.

You think Paul Bittner is an option at 21 or is that too early?

Coyotes GM Don Maloney says he's up to 4-5 "legitimate offers" for the No. 3 overall pick in the NHL Draft, with 3 to 4 more "tire-kickers."

If true, Maloney is really playing his hand well. I hate it that EDM AGAIN gets a top pick and that it screwed Arizona out of McEichel. Could have really saved their team.

But with the hand that Maloney is dealt.. I like that he is getting some of the best options sent to him. Do they need another franchise Dman.. or should they flip the pick for some top prospects and take a very good Dman later on...

if he can add Drouin and still get a 1st rd pick that he could move into the low 20s with.. dude would be a hero to me.

I'm with you
Been watching as many highlights as can

I love Proporov's game...more so even than Hanifen

Also my fav pick at 21 is also Gurianov if available...love the upside. Have enough of a prospect pool to go big or go home with this pick without being in trouble

Think goalie can wait or come a different way

Dream which is not gonna happen is trade up to grab Marner. Looks like a left handed version LaFontaine.

Is that only for players who have been drafted and are property of NHL teams?

I'd be interested in seeing how he stacks up after the rankings are released after this draft -- I'd assume he'd be in the Top 5, but not sure if he'd stay at that top spot.

McDavid and Eichel would not be considered prospects because they are straight to the NHL but I do see your point. Yes the rankings according to Hockeys Future are done by players who's rights are owned by a n NHL team.

He's right, though. That's about what it would take to pry that pick from the Leafs. Any package that doesn't include Eichel or Reinhart, and it isn't going to happen.

That being said, the Sabres would be stupid to do that.

He would be below McDavid, Eichel and Strome right away. Who knows who else? I would like to know who ranked him #1 prospect. Was it Garf?

You're an idiot. You said you wanted Marner and I told you what it would take to get him and now it's my fault it would cost too much? Again you're an idiot.
- imsorry66

I hope I am wrong and Reinhart becomes a stud
Admit have not watched much live Reinhart action. Just call up and some of the jrs
and highlights

Reinhart seems to allow the play to develop which isn't a bad thing. The "cerebral" to me sometimes looks like just waiting and really needs to add the fiery go get aspect to game. Kind of lacks emotion.

Marner...like Patty...Looks like a playmaker. A goal scorer. Emotion shows. Smaller player but electric

Weird but just as far as demeanor...almost like Pierre Turgeon vs Pat Lafontaine

I wouldn't be opposed to grabbing Marner for Reinhart and the top pick in the second

Nice blog Mike.

I'm still maintaining my stance for Bracco. He's exactly what this team needs. It'll just take a few years for him to get here.

Where's these attitude issues? Haven't read anything about it yet.
