Good draft, really like the kids I have watched play, intrigued by the others. Really love the trade, and the more I think about it I hope they keep Gagner. He's not a bad player, is young enough to maybe rebound and be a solid player for the Flyers

Bill, how are things with Vasiliev? Willcox? Any chance they could be in the mix to play with the Phantoms or is the team low on them right now? It seems also that Hextall has completely written off Madsen the goaltender as he claimed Stolarz was the only goalie on the depth list.

gagner has consistently put up about 40 points a season in his career if he does that here why not keep him for that role?

Vasiliev is basically a third-pairing KHL defenseman right now and not on radar screen at this point. Willcox may be signed after senior year; we'll see, because high ankle sprain made junior year a lateral development season instead of a step forward.

Madsen has only one collegiate game played so far, and a long, long, way to go to be an NHL contract candidate.

Does anyone think acquiring Gagner is just adding to the game of chicken that Hextall and VLC are playing?

He's just pushing Vinny further down the depth chart. I'm guessing nothing more happens on the Gagner front until Vinny's situation is more clear.

What's Gagner's actual, (preferred) position?
Hoping he can play LW, he's been around 40 points most of his career, & has a nice skill set.

I don't see Gagner in a Flyers uniform. It makes no sense to have a bottom six forward making over $3 million, the team already has two of those guys on the current roster. I'm pretty confident he gets bought out by 6/30.
