Don't say we aren't going "outside our budget"... we don't have one. We are just drafting and developing players which is the right way to do things in today's money hungry NHL. We have guys yet to sign on our end and our prospect pool is probably one of the best in the NHL. Veteran FA's and trades happen if possible, but we don't have a budget. We have like.. $4 million more in space than you guys; not that much of a difference. |

After reading about the cap space of the teams you listed. I went and looked. And was kind of blow away at how much salary Nashville has. Im not sure how thats possible. Then looked at theyre roster. They got 4 guys who need new contracts.
But still. I didnt think they had that kind of salary available still. |
