Couldn't agree more, whether Benning could of gotten more from Edm or not isn't all the relevant.
They clearly believed that Eddie was not their guy and that has always been the fulcrum of the Eddie Lack debate.

Time will tell if the right decision was made, but definitely time to move on.

You wonder with Botchford if he really wants to cover the team, or be it's GM. Half of his articles are whining about the decisions the management makes, the rest is how bad the players are.

Cam Ward can't do it anymore.

When he's on, he's great, but he's not on very often. Goaltending sank this team more than anything.

I've been on the the Lack over Miller bandwagon since Miller was signed but I think the debate was always Lack vs Markstrom for mgmt, and choose Markstrom.

I also think that is the wrong choice but can see why the younger goalie could be preferable.
